ALLIGATOR

* ½

STARRING: Robert Forster, Robin Riker, Michael V. Gazzo, Perry Lang, Jack Carter, Henry Silva, Bart Braverman, Dean Jagger

1980, 94 Minutes, Directed by: Lewis Teague

Perhaps it was inevitable that a movie inspired by the urban legend of alligators living in the sewers after being flushed down toilets as baby gators would be made.

In this movie an alligator grows to gigantic size after subsisting on a diet of dogs that died after hormone treatment in a laboratory.

Apparently it's not just the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that gets flushed down the loo.

Needless to say the overgrown alligator goes on a King Kong-style rampage.  Read a book instead of renting this bog standard Jaws clone . . .
