WOMEN OF SCI-FI - TERYL ROTHERY

Teryl Rothery

Teryl has performed in films, TV series and even animation features. Her most noteworthy sci-fi performance was the role of Dr. Janet Fraiser, a Medical Officer on Stargate SG-1 who specializes in extra-terrestrial diseases. Teryl Rothery played this role from 1997 until 2003.

Fans were devastated when Dr. Fraiser left the set in the seventh season of Stargate SG-1. But her career was not over; Teryl Rothery has recently starred in the hit picture The Sandlot 2 (2005) and is currently working on the films Whisper and Totally Awesome.

Teryl Rothery is also celebrated for her part as “Mrs. Skittles” in the well known popular children’s series Noddy. Her other animation credits include Hurricanes (1993), Dragon Ball (1985) and Littlest Pet Shop (1995), to name but a few.
