Little is known
about the plot as yet, but a definite release date has been set which
incidentally will make it compete sort of with the
Spider-man reboot at the box office.
Warner studios has recently confirmed that Tom Hardy (Inception)
will be Bane and Anne Hathaway (the actress, not Shakespeare's long-dead
wife) has been cast as Catwoman.
Nolan also confirmed that:
(a) the movie won’t
feature the Riddler;
(b) won’t be in 3D (instead he’ll be using high-definition and IMAX
cameras in much the same way as parts of Dark Knight were filmed); and
(c) will be his last Batman movie, which immediately sparked rumors
that Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain, Black Swan) will direct
the fourth movie.
And what do we think of the title? Er, it sounds a bit
like a blue movie spoof to us . . .
