Author J.K. Rowling’s final, seventh instalment of the Harry Potter series will be split into two full-length movies. Part I will be released in 2010 and Part II in 2011.

Basically the same creative crew (director, writer, etc.) and cast who have been responsible for Order and the Phoenix onwards is aboard again. It is a long-standing joke that the Harry Potter movies have sooner or later provided for every British actor or actress there is and the rumors have it that this time round Julie Walters (Educating Rita, Mamma Mia!) will be signed on as Molly Weasley. John Hurt (Alien, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) has already signed on as Mr. Ollivander.
